TORONTO (August 17, 2023) – Crave announced today the return of its smash-hit original series, SHORESY, for its six-episode second season.
Created by and starring Jared Keeso, directed by Jacob Tierney and produced by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games, the half hour comedy sees the foul-mouthed, chirp-serving, mother-loving, fan favourite character, Shoresy (Keeso), and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (The NOSHO), continue their quest to never lose again.
In the Season 2 debut, “Get ‘Em Focused,” the Bulldogs focus on a league record, while the next episode, “Skill vs Will,” sees them prepare to play the new American team. Joining the stellar lineup this season are Frederick Roy (son of Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy), international pop star Rêve, Catherine St-Laurent (Tu Dors Nicole) and Jordana Lajoie (THE BOYS). Returning cast starring alongside Keeso are Tasya Teles (THE 100) as Nat; Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat (Prey) as Sanguinet; Blair Lamora (Paranormal Nightshift) as Ziigwan; and Keilani Rose (FLIMSY) as Miigwan. From, Blainville, QC, rapper Jonathan-Ismael Diaby stars as Dolo; and former Montréal Canadien, author, and actor Terry Ryan stars as Hitch. The full version of Shoresy: Legends of the North will include an expanded Story Mode with 6 Hockey Godz to challenge across even more outdoor rinks. Additionally, all rinks and a wider range of fan-favorite characters, teams, and jerseys will be playable in the local player-vs-player Shinny Mode.
The Early Access version of Shoresy: Legends of the North offers a Story Mode with a prologue and two chapters, pitting your original character against the first two of six Hockey Godz. It also includes the local multiplayer Shinny Mode, with 6 NOSHO teams and a roster of your favouriteSudbury Blueberry Bulldogs players available to play on 3 different outdoor rinks against friends or AI.
Shoresy: Legends of the North is priced lower in Early Access and will increase in price as more content is added to the game.
